Based in San Diego, California, Marc brings heartfelt lyricism & storytelling to every song he plays. A multi-genre singer-songwriter and guitarist, he regularly draws crowds in the San Diego area, and has the unique ability to perform music that will make you feel again. Drawing inspiration from legendary songwriters such as Neil Young and Bob Dylan, while blending the coastal rhythms of Jack Johnson and Bob Marley, he brings a sound that incorporates folk, soft rock, surf, and reggae. Marc is known for his ability to connect deeply with his audience as he curates one-of-a-kind performances that are fully expressive and memorable.
Bio
Marc grew up in Tucson, Arizona with more energy than he knew what to do with. He loved to spend time outside, hiking barefoot in the beautiful Arizona Canyons, diving in and out of the ocean during his family's summer trips to San Diego, and playing an array of sports.
His mother would say that whatever Marc did, he did it with 100% passion.
Marc’s generosity for sharing music began early. In high school, he would make unique CD mixes for his friends at school as gifts.
Marc graduated from University of Arizona, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, which would bridge the gap between his creative spirit and his career path as an entrepreneur.
Marc made the move out to the Beaches of San Diego, with just his acoustic guitar, to finally fulfill his lifelong dream of living by the ocean. Here, he began trading gems, bundling sage, and making handmade necklaces as a full time vocation.
At his booths he would often use his knowledge of the subject, and his intuition, to give a unique gem for the person in front of him; sometimes even giving them a full sage cleanse or energy healing session.
During this time, Marc also started to get even more involved in music, as it gave him another way to connect deeply with others and to express his soul.
This eventually became his main focus, as he received vocal coaching and spent many hours practicing his craft; anywhere, and to anyone, he could; gaining invaluable experiences and special connections, along the way.
Today Marc performs at weddings, restaurants/bars, farmers markets, and private bookings, bringing love and serenity to each performance.
Marc still likes to integrate his love for crystals into his performances by bringing along a selection of pieces, wearing one or more of his necklaces, or saging the area beforehand.
With his long flowing hair, loose fitting attire, and ethereal dance moves, you can call Marc a modern day wizard of love.
When he doesn’t have his guitar in hand, you can find him reconnecting with the ocean, doing extravagant movement exercises in public, shopping for salmon at his local farmers market, or going on a walk with his dog Hazel.
